Check for HeyDock updates

HeyDock checks for a new version once a day and installs it from inside the app. Here’s how to check now and what an update changes.

HeyDock looks for a new version once a day. To check now, choose Check for Updates… in the menu bar, or in Settings › About.

Updates install from inside the app and don’t show the first-launch warning again, because every release is signed with the same identity. Your permissions and licence carry over.

Install HeyDock on your Mac

Download HeyDock, move it to Applications, get past the first-launch warning and grant the one permission you need on day one.

Uninstall HeyDock completely

Free your licence seat, bring back the macOS Dock, then delete HeyDock and the few files it keeps in your Library folder.
