Activate your HeyDock licence key

HeyDock has no trial: it starts once a licence is activated on your Mac.

Activate

1. Find the key in your receipt email from Dodo Payments.
2. In HeyDock’s licence window (or Settings › License), paste it into Enter your license key.
3. Click Activate. It says Activated on this Mac.

How many Macs

Solo activates on one Mac at a time, Duo on two. Each activation is a seat. To use a key on a new Mac, first deactivate it on the old one.

What goes online

Activation sends the key and a name for this Mac, like “Mac14,2 · 3F2A”, to Dodo’s licence service. HeyDock checks it again at launch and every few days. Offline is fine for a while; only Dodo saying the key is no longer valid (after a refund, say) locks HeyDock at once.

Messages you might see

• That key wasn’t found. Copy it again from the receipt email.
• That key is for a different app. It’s a key for another product.
• This key is already on as many Macs as it allows. Deactivate it on another Mac in Settings › License, or email support@heydock.app if you’ve lost that Mac.
