Restore where you left off in a mode

HeyDock saves a mode’s apps, open files and front pages with a short note when you leave, and offers a one-click restore when you come back.

Updated

What’s saved

When you leave a mode, HeyDock saves its apps, the files they had open and the pages in front, plus a one-line note on what you were doing, written on your Mac from your last window titles.

Restore

Switch back to the mode and a card offers Restore. Nothing reopens until you click it.

The recap

After two minutes or more in a mode, leaving it shows a recap: time in the mode, drifts stopped, and words written if the Word Count widget was on.

Better notes

The note is built from window titles, which need Accessibility (Settings › Permissions). Without it, HeyDock still saves apps and files.
