Every mode brings its own desk.
Widgets sit in the dock next to your apps, and each mode has its own set. A widget only works while its mode is showing.
Writing gets a word count and a focus timer; Meeting gets your next event with a Join button; Building gets GitHub reviews and CI, Vercel deploys and AI usage; Founder gets today’s revenue.
There are thirty in all, including Now Playing, clipboard history, quick notes, reminders, weather, countdown, quick toggles, Shortcuts, batteries, a file shelf, On Air, Today’s Focus, Focus Garden, a photo frame, sky and a stock ticker.
Any widget can also sit on the desktop, bigger, in a top corner — and swap with the mode.

Questions.
Do widgets slow the dock down?
Each widget polls only while its mode shows it. With everything on, HeyDock idles under 1% CPU.
